Contracting Statement

WPS MedicareRx Plan, offered by Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation, is a prescription drug plan (PDP) with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in WPS MedicareRx Plan depends on contract renewal. WPS MedicareRx Plan is authorized by law to refuse to renew its contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS also may refuse to renew the contract. Termination or non-renewal of this contract may result in termination of the beneficiary's enrollment in WPS MedicareRx Plan. In addition, WPS MedicareRx Plan may reduce its service area and no longer offer services in the area where you reside.

All Medicare prescription drug plans agree to stay in the program for a full year at a time. Each year, the plans decide whether to continue for another year. Even if a Medicare prescription drug plan leaves the program, you will not lose Medicare coverage. If a plan decides not to continue, it must send you a letter at least 90 days before your coverage will end. The letter will explain your options for Medicare prescription drug coverage in your area.

Benefits, formulary, pharmacy network, premium, copayments and/or coinsurance may change on January 1 of each year. Limitations, copayments, and other restrictions may apply. Please contact WPS Health Insurance for details.
